I’m rapper and producer from the westside of Chicago. I started playing music when I was 17 and have been at it every since. My main inspiration musically is story telling and it comes from people like Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, and J Cole. And one of the main reasons why I’m motivated to keep pushing forward in music is to spread the true Word of God through the sound he blessed me with.

I wouldn’t describe me, but If I had to, I would say that I don’t belong to anywhere, I grew up moving a lot & I didn’t have a clique, no gang, or anything. I’m a loner and I’m blunt about it. I’m a product of a starving mind, and so my energy is real and different. Or maybe I’m not shit, but In the end, what I’m attempting to manifest is a real music career with real amazing stories.

My sound can be very dark, I’m a type of person to get too deep into my feelings, so when I’m confident and driven the music is going to show that. When I’m hurt and going through it, my music will show that too. And sometimes when you’re in a dark place, lyrically you don’t say the prettiest things.
It’s real, this comes from my heart and soul. I think you can see the thought process of how I got to saying what I said.
Progressing, my music will forever evolve. I have no doubt this is what I am, every time I’ve tried to switch or be something else. I couldn’t stop. I will die making music. People will see what has and will happen throughout the next years.

Instead of a favorite one artist or producer, I just deeply love great music pieces. I’ll probably switch to an artist and listen to their vibes and work, then go on the next, and so on.

I’m a hidden gem artist, people haven’t seen me, but one day they’ll find out what I am at truth. I get that sounds conceded, and annoying to hear. But I’m somebody who’s soul has felt complete despair, and hopeless. I have to mention myself if you ask me this, not because I’m always thinking about myself but because I won’t let my work be discredited. There are many amazing talented artists out there who are crazy underrated.
Future plans
I wanna make music for people who care, My plans for right now is to get people to look. Then On Sept 17 my EP will drop, and the promos and work that I put in to set a basis for myself and fans to love while I hopefully give them music they will really enjoy the next few months. The time for me to do shows will happen after I feel people are wanting me to go out. This is all still very new to me, and I’m trying to take it one step at a time so I don’t get overwhelmed. Especially being an independent artist and wanting to stay that way for while.

My favorite rapper and lyricist is Danny Brown. His voice and lyricism really make me love him. My favorite producer (not including me because of course I am my own favorite), is Skywlkr who produced a lot of the songs in Danny Brown’s album XXX. Very experimental, interesting and memorable.

I bounce back between XXX or Atrocity Exhibition, both by Danny Brown. Right now I say XXX. “Stank pussy smelling like Cool Ranch Doritos”, that line always gets me.

BB King, pretty amazing considering he is probably the most influential blues musician ever and he passed away. He is the reason I started playing guitar, which eventually led me to start producing hiphop.

Future plans
In the short term, have Fire in my Brain reach 25k streams on Spotify and work with more major artists (I ain’t giving away who!).
In the long term, make connections with lots of music industry leaders, whether it be famous rappers or A&Rs to make beats for their singles or albums or make an album of my own with artists that I love. I would also like to make soundtracks for video games and TV shows. I listen to a lot of soundtrack music in my spare time. I could see my beats fitting really well with some sort of sci fi world.

Kanye West way back in 2006, he performed at the O2 I believe, the stage was moving, it had everything, acting drama real emotion and he was my favourite artist at the same! Super inspiring. I would also add I saw Ghetts live at the Endz festival in Croydon last year and that also as amazing, I have never seen a performer like him before, his energy is unmatched.
