I am JidScan, an artist, rapper, producer, and songwriter from Franklin Township, New Jersey with my parents both hailing from the West African country known as Sierra Leone.

I’m a lyricist and songwriter first. I use my words to paint pictures and communicate my points. My beats usually serve as cinematic backdrops to the whatever story I’m telling.
