Tell us a few things about your new EP “LOVE/LIFE”. What is the story behind it?
LOVE/LIFE is a double entendre with the idea of love and relationships. Our relationships with others our lives shape our ideals, morals and beliefs as people. Love the life you live and live the life you love. This 6 song EP is an rendition of my experiences with love, people and places in my life.
Which song of the EP reflects you the most?
The song that probably reflects me the most is Strides. It’s a song about the very emotional and intense battle chasing my dreams and never giving up.
Favourite rapper, lyricist and producer?
My favorite rapper is probably Kanye west. Favorite lyricist is Jay-Z and my favorite producer is just blaze.
What does hip hop symbolize in your opinion?
Hiphop symbolizes our unity, our love and passion. It’s been such a beacon of light to the people of the world. It’s now the biggest, most popular and most influential genre to date. And it will continue to grow and change our lives forever.
In which state of mind do you imagine people might listen to your music?
My music is best in a chill and tranquil state of mind. Very mood like energy.
What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
My house got raided while my cousin and I slept. One of the scariest and craziest moments in my life. I’m blessed and grateful to be here still. Had nothing to do with us either lol
