How many beats do you listen to before you end up using one? Tell us a few things about your creative process.
Hmmm this varies to two ends of the spectrum. It’s either I use the very first beat I listen to or I spend 1-2 hours going through beats before eventually calling it a day and starting again tomorrow. So my creative process is first of all to get a beat that hits me from the very first listen. Once I’ve got this, then I freestyle over the beat because what comes to you naturally the first time is usually the best flow you’ll end up with. I then replace words in the freestyle, and that’s the process really
For which lyric you are most proud of?
” Cartier on my arm, you ever been with a star baby?”
What does hip hop symbolize in your opinion?
Hip-hop symbolizes freedom to me. A way in which you can express all the emotions you have without being judged. A sweet escape
Favourite album of the past year?
That would have to be “My Turn” by Lil Baby. “Emotionally Scarred” was definitely the best song of the year
What is the most useless talent you have?
I am amazing at Tetris. I can confidently wager 100 pounds against anyone that I’ll beat them.
One last thing we should know about you?
I’m just getting started and have a lot of new music coming out soon. A couple videos as well and maybe dropping an EP before the end of the year. So stay on the look-out.
